Dean Brewer
Dean Brewer is Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Citation Compliance. A seasoned entrepreneur in the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) sector, he has spent his career developing technology-driven solutions that make regulatory compliance more accessible, structured, and actionable.
He founded CyberRegs in 1999, one of the first online platforms to consolidate regulatory data from multiple sources into a single, accessible system. Under his leadership, CyberRegs became an industry-standard resource and was ultimately acquired by IHS Inc. in 2012.
Over the course of his career, Dean has successfully developed and scaled multiple compliance-focused products, guiding them from concept through commercialization and acquisition.
His work reflects a long-standing commitment to building practical, scalable solutions that help organizations navigate regulatory complexity with greater confidence and efficiency.
Chief Executive Officer
Ken Waszkiewicz
Ken Waszkiewicz is Chief Legal Officer at Citation Compliance, bringing more than 25 years of experience in intellectual property law, technology, and systems engineering.
He has advised clients ranging from early-stage companies to Fortune 100 organizations on patent strategy, technology licensing, and complex IP matters. His legal experience includes work with leading firms such as Morgan & Finnegan and Drinker Biddle & Reath, where he focused on patent preparation, prosecution, and litigation.
Earlier in his career, Ken spent 14 years as a systems engineering and integration consultant, supporting organizations including NASA, the U.S. Air Force, and the Department of Defense. This technical foundation informs his practical, business-oriented approach to legal strategy.
He holds a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, an M.S. from George Washington University, and a B.S. from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Lakshmy Mahon
Lakshmy Mahon is the Chief Partnership Officer at Citation Compliance. Prior to joining Citation, she spent more than 16 years at the American Petroleum Institute (API), where she led a range of commercial businesses, including certifications, intellectual property and distribution, training, and safety programs.
Lakshmy has worked extensively with industry members, regulators, government agencies, universities, and international standards bodies across standards development, product development, and program implementation. More recently, she has served as Executive Vice President of the National Industrial Hemp Council’s accreditation program since 2021.

Jason Sirois
Jason Sirois is Chief Product Officer at Citation Compliance. He leads Citation’s regulatory and standards intelligence capabilities, along with internal AI-driven rule construction that supports the platform and its API ecosystem. His work focuses on making complex compliance requirements more structured, usable, and actionable for customers and partners across industries.
With more than 20 years of experience spanning regulatory operations, environmental permitting, SaaS, data analytics, and AI architecture, Jason brings a practical understanding of how regulations are applied in the field and how technology can translate regulatory intent into operational execution.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Saint Anselm College.

Bob Aretz
Bob Aretz is Chief Marketing Officer at Citation Compliance, where he leads brand strategy, messaging, and market positioning for the company’s regulatory and standards intelligence platform.
With more than 30 years of experience in strategic planning, brand development, and communications, Bob brings a deep understanding of how to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives. In 1991, he co-founded Paragraph Inc., one of Philadelphia’s first branding firms, where he spent over three decades advising organizations across industries on positioning, identity, and go-to-market strategy.
